For some years now Archos has locked down their personal media players to make sure that the end user can not replace or upgrade the hard drive in their own media players. A fact I myself was not aware of until the hard drive of my own Archos 605 wifi failed a couple of weeks after the warranty expired. When I contacted them I was told it would cost close to $200 to replace the hard drive in my unit. $200 to repair a pmp that had already cost me $400? I didn't think this was fair so I set out to find a solution to this problem. The solution wasn't easy. It would entail buying expensive equipment to modify the hard drives so they can work with these Archos units. Well, after months of research and development we have found a way not only to replace your broken Archos hard drive but in many cases to upgrade as well. So look around in our items page and see what we have to offer.
WE ARE IN NO WAY,SHAPE, OR FORM CONNECTED WITH THE ARCHOS COMPANY OR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES. MODIFYING YOUR ARCHOS IN ANY WAY, SHAPE , OR FORM WILL MOST LIKELY VOID YOUR WARRANTY.
